It’s a very common figure of speech that applies directly to what’s happening here. Standing up for your rights is awesome! But, if you can’t deal with the consequences, that is really immature. It’s like when police catch a criminal and the criminal says “I wanna make a deal for immunity”... It doesn’t mean the criminal didn’t do anything wrong, he had a consequence! Same exact rule applies here... I’m sorry if it’s too confusing for you to understand, but it definitely isn’t pathetic...
