As a future biologist (first year uni student) Would you recommend becoming a whale shark researcher? I swam with one before was absolutely stunned by it!

How would one go about becoming a researcher? Thanks :)

Were some of these photos shot on a disposable camera or were they edited? This is a trip that I've always wanted to do, but do it more primitively.
