Tommy, your work has been life-changing for me. A lot of people just like to watch The Room for a laugh, but entering the crazy, weird and hilarious community that surrounds The Room is helping me fight severe depression. Every time I watch your film with friends, I can forget about the world and be transported to a magical realm of red roses, spoons and American footballs, so I thank you so, so much for that.

My question is: If you could give all of politicians of the world just one piece of advice, what would it be?

Formal education isn't required for almost any purely design role. It's a plus, but that's all... for now.

However, as game design gradually becomes a field adopted more across the world (I myself study it at university), it's likely to become a mandatory requirement.

Either way, large, high quality mods are great. It's all about your portfolio, and if you can showcase design skills through modding, then you're fine. Developing your own games will always be better, but plenty of modders get into the industry all the time.

Funny that you're saying that. I've been watching all of the behind the scenes videos and interviews, and I can't quite put on my finger on why, but George does indeed come across as someone who's hard to work with. His body language seems very "closed" - he's always got his arms folded, hands in his pockets and doesn't look at people. It's like he doesn't enjoy being around others. He also seems quite bossy and moody in most of the encounters with his team. In the behind the scenes for Episode 1 I kept getting the feeling that he didn't like how the film turned out and that he was shifting the blame to others - for example, when they finish the preview of the film's first draft, George doesn't acknowledge that he's responsible. He keeps saying "we" made mistakes and "we" need to fix them, when most of the blame probably needs to be pinned on himself.

Obviously the footage we have access to is a tiny slice of the whole development schedule of the films, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's representative of George.
