Any employee of a company can file an OSHA complaint. Did anyone at the company file a complaint? If not, why? If complaints were filed, how did OSHA respond?

I'd also make sure that veterans get adequate mental health care while IN the service so there's not a backlog of people trying to get help with no idea how.

This right here. Endless posters and presentations for Employee Assistance and other programs. But what went unspoken was that these were career killers. So, instead of providing members with mental health services, which supposedly makes them unreliable, we have thousands of members serving with untreated mental illness.

Not so much EAP which was supposed to be 100% confidential (on paper at least) but it's inadequate. I had an E-5 under me that was having marital problems, I helped him get set up with an EAP councilor and they were doing good but the sessions capped out at 6 visits. After which they were completely hung out to dry. I tried working through the command, the Chaplain services, etc. with no luck. Once you go though EAP, if 6 visits doesn't fix you, you're out of luck. Unless the member wants to officially ask for mental health services.

I think the hypocrisy of the Capital-T Truth that many people dealt with as young people in the Church has soured a lot of people.

We're taught "Thou shalt not lie". But we don't talk about sex, we don't talk about sexual orientation, we don't talk about abuse, we don't talk about a laundry list of topics that need to be talked about. Instead too many congregations focus on obedience through guilt. They teach kids that impure thoughts and masturbation are sins to be ashamed of, then wonder why they're all screwed up when they grow up.
