Has ever someone tried to revive dead people? If so, how did he/she tried?

I saw a documentary in which they weren't supposed to film whereas they were travelling by bus but the journalists did it anyway. And what the filmed was a bunch of guys (perhaps they were like 7-12 years old) and they were doing field work
