How can Americans find a therapist they can afford? The in-network therapists are very rare and I've had very poor results with them. The out-of-network therapists are too expensive.

When I was seeking a therapist, I went down the list of every therapist within driving distance in my participating providers. Almost every single one was not accepting new patients. I slowly worked my way through the therapists that were accepting new patients. The first one seemed decent but just wasn't the right person for me. The second couldn't remember anything I told her, constantly confused me with her other patients, and frequently forgot our appointments and double-booked, or didn't show up. The third literally fell asleep multiple times in our sessions. And they were all I could find!

I cannot afford $100 - $150 a week for a therapist. Of course, that's only how much I'd pay for an out of network therapist AFTER I've paid off my $4,000 deductible. Before then it costs $200 - $300.

So, how are Americans supposed to find a therapist?

And on a related note, how are people supposed to find a psychiatrist? All but one of the psychiatrists I've tried to book no longer deal with mood disorders, they now only deal with substance abuse. Is that where all the money is, so that's exclusively the work psychiatrists do nowadays? When I asked my PCP for advice on finding a psychiatrist, he literally stated he had no idea and asked that, if I find a psychiatrist, please let him know how I found one because he is tired of being unable to help his patients find one when they need it.

A friend of mine had his ulcerative colitis cured through surgery a while ago. He is extremely happy with it and the surgeries were life changing for the better. It's possible that the process has changed since that time, but this is how it was done when he was cured.

Ulcerative Colitis can be cured by removing the portion of the body which is affected: the colon. The process involves three surgeries over the span of 6 months. The first surgery removes the colon and creates an ileostomy.

After three months have passed, assuming the patient has healed well, the small intestines are connected to the anus but the ileostomy is kept. The small intestines are reshaped to act as both the large intestines and a rectum.

After three more months, assuming healing went well, the ileostomy is removed and the patient can hopefully return to a normal life and has been cured of ulcerative colitis.

Note that this does not work for Crohn's disease, because Crohn's can occur anywhere in the digestive tract, while Ulcerative Colitis only occurs in the large intestines and rectum.

How would I go about studying in my dreams using lucid dreaming? Would the techniques differ depending on the subject?

I don't really have a question, so I'll turn my suggestion into a question. Are you aware you still aren't charging enough? If you are truly good at what you do, you should raise your prices.

Is there anything that can be done to get rid of underground termites when termite stations aren't cutting it?

I hired exterminators to get rid of a termite problem in my house, but every year, the termites still swarm inside of my house when spring comes around. Every time the exterminators check the stations, they find no sign of termite activity, meaning the termites never found the stations nor consumed the chemicals inside. The exterminators have placed ever an ever increasing number of termite stations in the ground around my house, but I've had no luck.

Are there any other things I can do to get rid of this infestation? I've contacted other exterminators and they have given me no additional solutions. They only suggest that the exterminators I'm currently using must be doing something incorrectly.

I'd sell my house and move, but no one's going to buy a home swelling with termites.
