I recently read about I believe the lesser crested sulphur cockatoo which is critically endangered in its native range but thriving in, of all places, Hong Kong...

Are there any cases of this happening with reptiles? That is to say are there any "invasive species" that are actually highly endangered in their native range?

Also, what are the primary ways of controlling say a red terrapin invasion?

Thanks for reading!

Wasn't there another florida sparrow. The dusky seaside sparrow or something like that... I remember it was the rarest bird when I was a child.

Is there any chance that's still alive?

Also is there a captive breeding programme in place for abybof the creatures you study?

Just curious.

aww man that's really sad. I wonder what will have to go extinct for us to change our ways and really appreciate what we have in the world.. from the smallest sparrow to the largest whale...
