But, I am also really discouraged by his answer. Looks like OP probably would not have made it if he had not had the money to pay for private scans.

No. I was not suggesting that by any means. I said that agree we need universal healthcare.

My post said I was “discouraged “ that he would boot have made it but-for private scans. I say that out of concern that UHC would be just another system where the wealthy have their needs met and the poor do not.

Yes, I realize an imperfect system is better that a terrible one. But we should still freely discuss all aspects of a new system in hopes of finding the best.
