Sorry for my lack of creativity, but I always ask this when a composer does an AMA. Do you listen to modern film/tv/videogame scores in your spare time? Most of the composers I've asked say no because they are afraid it might influence their own work too much, so they tend to stick with classical music. I'm interested to know if you feel the same.
