I don't work for them but what I was told was that if you have the ability to amass money and save then you don't need assistance. It "prevents fraud". It's a stupid way to go about it. It keeps people poor and promotes poor spending decisions.

Is temperpedic or purple really all it's cracked up to be?

I didn't have that experience and I'm not on disability but my shelter was a mess too. It's sad when you see people lying just to get a free place to stay. There I was terrified out of my mind covered in bruises (and felt like I deserved it because I had to leave my dog) and the group next to me were bragging about how they scammed their way in. I know it's only a small fraction of people that do this but it boggles my mind.

Which do you recommend?
