I'm a chick that was told that I'd never have vision when I was born in '91, then I gained sight, then lost it, then got some back, then lost it again, then gained a little back and here I am at 22 tying this to you, it being a miracle that I can see at all, nice to meet you fellow miracle!

When I was born I have cataracts in both of my eyes at 3 months old they were able to move the lawn in my left eye. My right I was physically smaller than my left so they wernt able to remove the lens, so basically I grow up half blind I had to work lasses with bifocals in them.

After I turned 14 the retina in my left eye detached, it was a 5 percent chance of this happening do to my cateract surgery. I went in for an emergency surgery they sewed the retina back on and put an air bubble in to hold it down.

Unfortunately 3 weeks later scar tissue formed on the retina tearing it back off again. So this time instead of an air bubble they put silicon oil to hold it on. They removed the oil 6 months later. I was blind for over a year because of all this. The sight in my left eye went back to 20/80 the DR's never dreamed it would get that high.

At 17 I had with called a acute glaucoma attack, my eye pressure went up into it's 40's three times in 2 weeks. This caused me to go blind once again and it also jump started my comic migraines eventually my sight came back and it is currently 20/200, the exact point of legal blindness
