Why do you name TRAPPIST-1 planets from b to h? Why did you start by planet 1b, instead of 1a? Thanks!

How sure are you that any potential extraterrestial life needs to be "human-friendly", i.e., in a warm planet with water, etc? Aren't we assuming too much in this humancentric approach? I guess we need to use more "lateral thought" in order to be successful in our search for life outside our world. Many thanks!
