What kind of relationship do you have with your parents? Do you like your dad? What's your best and worst memory from your childhood?

I actually owned a wolfdog growing up, he was AT LEAST 50/50 (got him from a very close family friend/long time breeder), I'm not even sure if he was legal in our area. Anyway, his behavior was exactly like OP is describing and he was fucking gigantic, mine had a huge mane and legitimately resembled a doglion. He was always very sweet with me, but he didn't like strangers and it was hell to keep him leashed since we couldn't find dog chains that were strong enough (we eventually had to use actual chains until we could put up a huge fence). And fucking forget a house wolfdog.

Get a shepherd or lab or something instead, though I can't speak for low % wolf mixes. They can be good animals from my experience and our breeder friends experience with enough work, but they don't really make good pets.
