I live in an area with an abundance of coyote. I even encountered one running through my neighborhood just before dawn not too long ago (I was driving, and he was sprinting in the other direction). We hear them almost every night.

What makes the coyote more extreme than some of the wolves/hybrids?

The coyote I saw was getting ready to round the corner of a building (at full still sprint), and there was a jogger coming up the sidewalk from the other side. I watched in my sideview mirror, ready to pull a u-turn if needed, but luckily the coyote veered across the street when he caught sight of the human.

Jogger just about shit herself, though...understandably.

How about a slingshot that shoots a crossbow that shoots a bolt while in mid-flight?
