"Anti-Family Planning" doesn't even make sense, honestly. I suppose is depends on what "anti" is referring to.

If it's Anti(Family Planning) then you'd just have unprotected sex.

If it's Anti(Family) Planning then it means you're planning for an anti-family... which sounds like you're planning to break apart your relations with your spouse / parents / children / etc.

The phrase "Family Planning" on the other hand just implies that you're planning out for family, perhaps by manipulating your fertility so that having a child only happens when it's planned.

One of my close friends has arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. He uses similar tools to assist him as you've described. He's a bit of a tinkerer as a result. Recently, he got a car modified so that he could drive it. It's quite a setup.

I know it's a super rare condition. Have you ever met someone else with the same condition or perhaps considered reaching out to younger people with similar challenges?

It's rare I meet someone else who thinks like this. I imagine it's rare for you as well. You're not the only one.

Usually how I explain it is this way:

I don't have any anxieties about the fact that my body doesn't extend over the entire universe and there are places that aren't me. Given this and the fact that space and time are essentially the same thing, why should I have anxieties about the fact that my life doesn't extend to every moment in the universe and there are times that I am not in?

I think most people do care about the climate crisis, but people feel (and often are) powerless to do anything meaningful to help.

When all the power is held by a tiny minority of the people, who are almost exclusively responsible for climate change and who seem to have no interest in the long term survival of the species, what role does the regular person play in ensuring our long term survival and the survival of every other species on the planet?

What is the next step after being educated about the severity of the crisis?

I fear this outcome, but I'm relieved that your response was much more thought out than "vote for the right politician" and closer to "a revolution is necessary". Sadly, due to the delay in climate events after the damage is done, the the feedback loops and their resulting death spirals, I dread a world where a revolution only occurs after we are already in a collapse that could be impossible to stop.

Nonetheless, I think what you gave is a realistic, even if grim, answer.
