Regarding the "Good moral character" portion, does entering the U.S. illegally within the last 5 years count against them?

Note: I agree with the end to DACA. But I would like to see the solution from Congress create a viable path to legalization for immigrants who are contributing members of society (no violent criminal arrests, warrants of any type, etc) and that would not force them to uproot and return to Mexico before following whatever path is required for legalization.
