we have sources from within the country, not just British but also native Chinese

I'm not arguing-- in fact, I am personally a Communist-- but could you cite these sources please?

If you had a basic grasp on economics, you would know that the CCP are definitely not Communist.

Yay! First time I am early to an AMA! I was wondering what it was like to live under Mao. Positive or Negative? Do you think he deserves all the hatred toward him in the west? Do you think Deng did the right thing after Mao's death?

China is not communist & has not been for nearly 50 years now. What China does now has nothing to do with Communism.

1) How many people were killed by the government during the Cultural Revolution?

Obviously not OP but I don't understand this question. Even using US propagandist sources, the CR was not considered a time of murder.

What do feel about Tank Man?

This happened after China reverted to capitalism, well after Mao's death. She would of course opposed it.

3) Is not China a totalitarian country? Does China have freedom of speech?

Define 'totalitarian'. As for Free speech, most Communists hold the view that Free speech should not extend to hate speech. I don't know the CPC's position on this, not now, nor under Mao.

As a communist here in the U.S., what would happen to a capitalist in China doing the same as you?

China is a capitalist nation, so likely nothing.
