I don't have Kallmann Syndrome like OP but I have a similar condition, IHH. I went through puberty but I have not had any testosterone since that time. In high school and college I had tons of relationships where I ended up in the friendzone. In retrospect what I lacked was the killer instinct that drives most men to sex. I am certain that there were numerous nights that I stayed up talking with girls that could have had totally different and awesome outcomes. In many ways my disorder has allowed me to be more empathetic and more in touch with feminine thought. Also when you eliminate the sex drive you can really just truly be someones friend, guys never saw me as competition and girls saw me as the best guy friend.

Blood tests for testosterone levels would be a surefire way. If the testes have descended and the testosterone levels are not within the normal range you would move forward with a scent test for Kallmann, if it is IHH like I have you would do an MRI to check for a tumor on the Pituitary or Hypothalamus. If those come back clear you would start hormone therapy.

I have IHH, like Kallmann but I can smell. I did HCG injections three times a week for 9 months each time. My wife is pregnant with our second child.

It is recessive there is no guarantee that his offspring would have the disorder. Additionally he most certainly knows the symptoms to watch for, it is unlikely that his children would go without an early diagnosis.

I love to sing but choir is not very fun because I can't hit the high tenor notes or the low bass notes. I do have a pretty awesome falsetto though. When I am on hormone treatments I am able to sing lower and have a deeper speaking voice to some extent.
