I am ploughing through the Perennial Philosophy after your recommendation. Lordy! What a tough, deep, intractable and wonderfully rewarding book. Thank you for that.

The inspiring Alan Watts, to me, dharma much easier to take in than Huxley. But the Perennial Philosophy is a unique work in a way few others are. Maybe not as life changing as the Meditations (Marcus and Rene!) it's like a triathlon for the mind and spirit. Mind you I have about fifty pages to go, it might flop and fail still. Well wishes.
