It would be great to see urban policeman walking beats again. Now they often live in the suburbs and stay in their cars all day. No wonder they never make a connection to the people they are supposed to serve.

I much prefer the show without the celebrity interview bit, but I do miss seeing the Stig laps.

The thing is, it's not doctors doing it. It's hospital owners and administrators, insurance companies, and medical supply distribution companies. Doctors generally want to help people, but the hospitals and insurance companies make it more expensive.

That's absolutely ridiculous. I knew they never defended the 2nd amendment, but I can't believe they essentially want it gone. It's irresponsible to bill yourself as a staunch supporter of the Bill of Rights while ignoring the destruction of such an important one.

The money is there, however it's now being spent on militarization. I've seen the ATVs, automatic rifles, facial recognition cameras that are all unnecessary but cost extreme amounts of money. Hiring cops to walk a beat isn't sexy, but buying bulletproof ATVs from military contractors is.
