What prompted you getting the CIMT test? I assume some kind of symptoms?
I'd love to get one to just to have that knowledge, but you know how insurance is in the States. Wouldn't mind going out of pocket for it...
Man, the hypochondriac in me is freaking out reading this thread!

Good to know! I've done stress tests and always come out with flying colors. Drs say I'm off the charts relative to anyone with CAD issues, but I'm a fretter and always want to know what's going on inside.
It's really good you found out and advocated for yourself. I knew a lady who was a hypochondriac and had full-body MRIs once a year. She paid out of pocket because she was a 9-figure millionaire. Caught stage 1 pancreatic cancer and cured it. Odds are 9 to 1 it saved her life. Wish I could afford that, as I'd just have every non-harmful test run once a month, just in case!
Regardless, it's great when people take their health into their own hands, granted I'm on the overboard side of things.

That's scary, considering everyone has some plaque in their vascular system. We're all ticking time bombs.
And you said you had your arteries scanned and they all looked clear for the most part?

Did you have warning signs, such that your Dr approved these tests? The hypochondriac in me would love to get these, but usually preventative screenings aren't approved by insurance until after you're 50.
