St. Louis resident, can confirm. It scares the hell out of us having that shit looming at our doorstep. It's like Mordor to our Gondor: an ugly, constant reminder of the horrors of the human condition, a threat to our well-being. We can only wonder when they stop terrorizing each other and the crime spills across the river like a wave of the Mongolian hordes, plundering everything in its wake.
