Think someone with the intelligence and progressiveness of a redneck and the charm, politeness and agressiveness of a chav.

Hi Adam!

A good 11% of the Australian Public voted for the Greens at the last election, yet you remain the only representative in the Lower House. Don't you think it's time we ditch the AV voting system for something that better represents the views of the Australian people? Alternatively, what other reforms do you believe can improve the functioning of the Lower House?

Hi Scott! Long time fan, first time asker of things.

As the Greens' spokesperson for (among other things) housing and infrastructure, I'd like to ask you about the housing affordability crisis in Australia's capital cities. Namely, how do you see the situation improving? Is improved infrastructure (NBN telecommuting, greater public transport links) the solution? Or do we need a substantial change to property policy. eg. negative gearing?

Also- as asst. spokesperson for Defence, what are your thoughts on the 1.5b in the budget for 12 new electronic-warfare jets to fill the gap in coverage before the JSF? Would this money be better spent on meeting our now-reneged commitments to foreign aid? Do we need these jets our should we rather focus on a soft-power approach to our role in the international system?

What do you think about mixed-member proportional systems like New Zealand? They have regional electorates and also party "lists", so the one chamber of parliament is made up of both geographical representatives and a number of non-geographical representatives to ensure proportionality? It seems to cover both sides of it doesn't it?
