I am not quite sure how you have came to that conclusion because I never stated anything even remotely similar to that. Rather, I am telling you that are placing your case into jeopardy. If you had already acquired representation, and inquired with your attorney about this AMA, they would undoubtedly say "no, do not do it."

By almost all metrics, this AMA will not provide the justice that the institutional justice system can. This AMA will provide at most 24 hours of attention to your plight by individuals that are primarily not even remotely geographically close to you. The institutional justice system will provide actual punishment, monetary compensation, legal reform, media attention, and so much more. You are jeopardizing sweeping justice for short term attention in the form of an AMA.

I have doubts that you are knowledgeable of what is, and is not, kosher to say in an AMA with such stakes, the mere fact that you created it in the first place is a testament to that. There is a reason that every individual and organization with sound legal representation states "I am not able to comment on pending or future litigation." You are breaking what is basically the first and most basic rule of anything within the courts, don't talk about it. If you are going to talk about it, have your attorney sitting next to you counseling you.

The ACLU is unlikely to take this case. They have limited time and resources. People view the ACLU as some sort of unlimited warrior for the social good that will stampede into the court room to defend your liberties but that really is unreasonable and not true. There is no harm in contacting the ACLU but a case such as this is will be unlikely to take their notice. The ACLU could be described as consequentialist, they take cases that provide the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people. This case, as it has been described, is very narrow. It would not be a wise investment of their time or resources.

That is up to you. It certainly isn't going to help you. I am just trying to help you. Many people have wrecked their cases by speaking about them. This AMA will only complicate the matter. Do you really want to have to testify about statements you made in an AMA? Having attorneys twist your words trying to trip you up? If they find out you did this, they will try to use it against you. It is that simple.
