How many people actually need these drugs versus using safer alternatives? I feel like pain killers and other oxycontin drugs mostly benefit the people pushing the drugs vs. helping people that take or are prescribe pain killers. Im pretty sure we have alternatives that are safer and a blind eye is turned on them because of cash flow...inward cash flow.

Yeah, well I am at work now and writing wasn't my best subject. Normally I do a lot better job of explaining my thinking than being able to gauge someone and ask a simple question without offending them.

You can view it that way, but how can you be an advocate for working for a non-profit because you should do something that you love and then not mention money? It's not like I am trying to say I am Macho Man because I make a boatload but at least give me an idea of what people in non-profits make. I agree that you should do something you love, but its hard to know what kind of lifestyle you are moving into without knowing certain factors.
