I used to be a teacher, and am a furry. Very very very far in the closet about it though as it's mostly kinks for me. It would get hard to ignore when certain students would draw furry doodles on tests and once even drew their fursonas on the board.

Or, you know, the other, more recent, Disney movie with a fox.

You know, I've had people take art from my FA page (that I commissioned), put it up on Twitter and say they own the character. They role play as them and distort perception about the character (making tons of people think the character was into kinks that I despise). Right now there is nothing you can do but ask them to stop, and if they say no, there's nothing you can do.

Got any advice on this? Do I have IP rights to art I commissioned (where the idea for the piece, the character, etc, are all mine, but the art itself was done by someone else in exchange for money)?

You should be a corvid. They like shinies, are the most intelligent birds (debateably), wear black, are experts in bird law, are well-spoken, and when you get together with other corvids you get to make jokes about an attempted murder.

Personally I think ravens are better. Message carriers, blue sheen on the feathers, and an association with Odinn. Plus Raven/Hrafn is an actual name, but you'd look kind of funny at a person named Crow or Jackdaw. Unless it was like... Jack Dawson.
