The retired saturation diver I knew (my diver instructor) always wore a hot suit. It's a dry a suit they pump hot water through. He said if the water stops you'd have about 2 minutes to get back to the bell or you'd pass out from hypothermia.

He decided to stop diving when he was leaning against the leg of an oil rig waiting for a part to come down from the surface and fell asleep. He knew he wouldn't survive long making those minds of mistakes.
