This is quite true. Nowadays, there are tons of special tools and equipment that go into making any electronic product. I recently watched a video that demonstrated how uneven torquing on the screws on a hard drive would cause it to malfunction. You need a torque screw to properly reassemble the device.

There's also the plethora of issues that come into your phone and MP3 player. I couldn't fix one of those if I tried.
