I know many of our local folks who are Disciples. My mom, for example, converted to Catholicism from Disciples.

My husband and I were married in our local First Christian Church.

If my local friend were the parish pastor? I would probably go. We are high school friends. But, since she’s not senior pastor, and there’s all kinds of interesting church politics at play, I am not interested. Mostly because I left my church because church politics replaced reverence and worship.

If you come to my part of Kentucky, to our Disciples church?

I might actually come to church anywhere again. And I say that as a lapsed Catholic.
