I go to Grayson also. It is so sad to hear that the system in such a relatively small community is failing. I am in the ag industry as well (I work in the main office for seven elevators owned by my grandfather who is also a very large farmer) and I have just a few questions. In Texas we have seen a rise in Alflatoxin, but the last couple of years everyone has been jumping on the Alflaguard band wagon and that really has seemed to help us. Is Alflatoxin something that you encounter in your harvests, and if so what do you use to control it? What was the average basis that you contracted for this year?

PS - Just wanted to say you liking BTBAM makes you just about the coolest farmer I've heard of. Down here it's a lot of terrible old country.

Haha yeah man, I live literally 30 seconds from Anna. I go there sometimes to get food. Yeah people from Dallas are definitely different than people in the more northern part of Texas for sure. And I might have. I do most of my classes on the internet because I hate people, haha. How old are you? and what types of classes have you taken? Maybe we might of had some of the same.
