My mother was an ER nurse in Vietnam and she's fascinated by medical history and advances. I however went a complete different route and went to college to eventually become a playwright. So from my mother and I both: thank you for your service. She is going to try to read your book. From me: can you speak more about the playwriting?

Hello Frank! Longtime admirer although my questions might not indicate that. i ask honestly as someone who loves how dark your writing is despite my perhaps more mundane normal reading preferences. My questions, assuming they doesn't get down-voted into oblivion, are: I love your characters except for the women you portray... there aren't many and the few there are, though well written and always suiting the story at hand, always seem to be on the sidelines. Do you like heroines? Do you think you'll ever write a comic that puts a woman as the central protagonist? why do so many of your femme characters endure sexual violence/perversion instead of, say, the more "regular" violence your male characters endure? perhaps to put a button on it, what about misogyny is so appealing o you that you write and illustrate it time and time again?

Thanks for doing this AMA. I've been told by many people that I should look into being a masseuse (sp?) b/c I have strong hands and seem to have natural talent at shoulder rubs, etc. I have three questions - first, how quickly do you get exhausted? Second, how many massages do you have to give a week to earn a decent paycheck? and last, do you feel that this is a great career choice considering the initial cost to get trained / certified vs. the pay per massage rate? Or, if not, is there a better field of specialty that might pay better?
