Buffalo proper is definitely not that bad. I grew up here and don't really like it, but it's not that bad. Sure yeah between Jefferson and Bailey things get sketchy, but the center of the city and north and south Buffalo are actually quite nice, especially with all of the new development coming in.

Uh...OJ is from San Francisco? Property taxes may have gone up but so have home values. Gas prices are fucking ridiculous here though.
