Hey Rifftrax! Long time listener, first time caller. Let me apologize in advance for the length of this comment.

First off, I'm going to start with a little MST3K story. Mike, Bill, Kevin- you guys literally saved my life once. I know, I know- you guys must get this all the time. But I would seriously not be here right now if it wasn't for the laughter you fellas provided me one dark, dreary day. I'm mentally ill, and didn't get treatment for a really, really long time. One morning, I was home alone and had reached my breaking point. I switched on the tv to have some background noise while I set everything up to take my own life, & MST3K happened to be on. I had everything ready, literally about to pull the trigger- when Servo said a line that made me stop, put the gun down, and laugh. And I don't mean just laugh. I mean- laugh harder than I ever laughed in my entire life. I started crying, I was laughing so hard. I must have laughed for a good 20 minutes just from that one line. I don't know why it hit me as so funny, but it did at just the right time. At that moment, I realized- Hey, I'm still able to laugh. If I'm still able to laugh, I'm still able to feel positive feelings. If I'm still able to feel positive feelings, there is still hope. If there's still hope, there's reason to continue with my life. I finished watching that episode of MST3K, and then called a suicide hotline. I spent about 2 months at an inpatient facility getting stable, and am still here thanks to that one hilarious moment. I still credit Mystery Science Theater 3000 to this day for saving my life all those years ago. So thank you. Really- thank you guys for that. So many great things have happened since then, and I never would have been around to experience them if it wasn't for a guy, some bots, and some cheesy movies. I really hope you guys know what a huge impact you've had on people like me.

Now for my question(s) (Rifftrax related!). Will you ever consider bringing back Bacon Cam? What ever happened to streaming shows? (Was the idea scrapped? I thought it was such a great idea! Any plans to revisit the idea in the future?) Will tonights Total Riff Off be available for streaming for those that do not get Nat Geo?

Thanks for doing this AMA, guys. And, as always, keep up the good work. You'll always have my support!

(edit to apologize for any grammatical or spelling errors. I'm at work and am totally sneaking on here just to leave this comment)

Edit again: Thanks so much for the gold! I guess people really do love bacon! :D

Thank you, Bill. I know I did the work to get better, but you guys were my "Aha!" moment. If that line hadn't hit me at that exact moment in that exact way, I would have never made it past that point. But for some reason, it's like it just reached out to me. That one line sparked a light that helped me see through the dark and eventually led me out of the tunnel. I'm doing very well now, thank you, and am doing my best to pay it forward by being that same point of light for others.

I should also mention that to honor you guys, I got Crow and Servo tattooed on each shoulder (Crow says "Bite me, Servo says "Huzzah"). So I'll always have a reminder of this wonderful show, and the brilliant characters that you guys helped bring to life. :)

First of all, THANK YOU for inspiring younger people to read classics, think of them deeper than just words and characters, and analyze what they read. I wish you were around when I was in high school!

My questions are, what is your favorite book of all time? What is your favorite children's book? If you could meet any author living or dead, who would it be? (I'm not expecting you to answer all of these. Maybe one each?)

Bonus question for Greg Edwards: How has the growing attention of Thug Notes affected your stand up comedy crowd? Are you noticing more people attending, or has it not changed?

Thanks for doing this AMA!! Wishing you all great success!

The main reaction I've been seeing from fellow Oklahomans is that he's guilty because he's been convicted not once, but twice. I personally don't believe the justice system is fool-proof, but when I try to explain this to those I have a discussion about this case with, that is their go-to answer. "He must be guilty because he's been convicted TWICE."

How do you, as his attorney, explain how an innocent man can be convicted twice for this crime?

Best of luck to you guys and Mr. Glossip. I know you guys have a difficult road ahead of you. I'm pulling for you guys!

Have you ever seen the movie Sunshine Cleaners? What did you think about it if you have? I never really considered there was an actual job of cleaning up crime scenes until I saw that movie, and then I realized what an interesting job it would be. Is it hard to get into this line of work? What made you decide to do this for a living? Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions!
