This seems somewhat problematic. Another officer may have acted the same way, but that doesn't justify the action.

Lots of people do AMAs multiple times and all of them are promotional. Why is this unique or worth mentioning?

Just because other officers deem it reasonable does not mean we as a society should accept that as the definition of reasonable.
