Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I am in a situation where I will possibly/hopefully be entering into a poly relationship. Not necessarily a triad but more FMF where the other F is the metamour (I've been reading up as much as possible). One current challenge is long distance. Another one that you have identified, that I hadn't thought about in great detail, is the BDSM aspect. Two of us are (M and 1F) while the other F is not. The reality of it all can be overwhelming sometimes but I agree on "adjusting and adapting and keeping an open mind" as contributing to success. I am also in GA and will perhaps see you at a BDSM event sometime! lol I think it's truly wonderful that you have all found each other and share mutually in your love for each other. Definitely a rarity.
