Wow, the wages in the US never cease to amaze me :( I work at an Australian cinema and make $23 an hour. It's one of the busiest in Australia so it's definitely not an easy job, but I just can't imagine doing what I do for almost $8 an hour.

That is sad, I'm glad he finally found somewhere. Makes me wonder what happened in those visits to make them not want him. Did they give you a reason to not wanting to foster him?

"Not even bad" isn't that a bit far? yours was obviously terrible but so was op's story. I think they are both fucking tragic.
