I'm in the LA area and a corner store by my old place had Vernor's. I haven't seen it in grocery stores, but it's definitely available at least some places. If you're not too far from Long Beach, feel welcome to PM me and I'll give you the name/location of the store. Haven't been back there in a few months but I assume they're still there and still selling Vernors.
