One might assume it's related to the disease they have. They might feel that they can't donate to anyone because of some kind of fear of contagion. I'm not saying it makes sense, but there is probably a lot of emotional baggage for OP related to their health decisions.

As a teacher myself, this is something I strruggle with daily.

Admin says a student should be practicing infinitives, but that's really hard when they can't identify the difference between a noun, verb, and adjective in the first place.

Gotta meet people where they are at, no matter if they're 5 or 50!
