I've been on two with Royal Caribbean and they were absolutely awesome. Also. Pro-tip. Try not to go during hurricane season.

My dad has been a paramedic for going on 24 years now. He's seen death, mangled bodies, and carried dead children out of burning homes in front of their parents. Last week he went on a call where a 17 year old girl had stabbed her best friend in the back of the head over a boy. He says the things that bother him the most aren't the people that did, but the ones that made it through. The ones that have to live with deformities or trauma. He'll see them in his dreams when he sleeps, peripheral vision when he's awake. I've had to comfort the man more than once while he let it all out.
