Interesting. They had to evac their cows in rising flood water. So I imagine that the stress level of their cows had to be really high. I didn't personally notice a difference in the taste, maybe a little in the color. I did however, notice a significant difference in taste going from Sam's club plastic container milk, to the much better tasting glass container small dairy milk we have now. I was worried when the news outlined the area of evac's ordered and saw that it included my beloved dairy farm.

We purchase our milk through local small dairy here in Colorado. Several months ago, there was flooding along the front range that effected the dairy and their herd. The dairy was quick to get their cows to high ground and reported that their supply line was safe. My question is: "Does stress on the cow affect quality, taste or quantity of the milk produced?"
