Given the nature of drugs in gaming (take drugs, get addicted, get cured via potion, healer, God, etc) how do you address the similarities and differences?

It just crossed my mind, I suppose.

Outer Worlds has me constantly using a medical inhaler with various addictive substances (no cure, just more use)

Fallout Series has plenty of drug use with various cures.
