It's easy to be so critical if you've never been there. Foreign Aid is being used to develop the infrastructure necessary to hopefully make the countries self sufficient in the future. But developing infrastructure takes time (lots and lots of time) which is why there is a need for food, water and medical supplies to take care of the people's short term needs.

You should volunteer a few hours of your time to work with NGO's who do aid work in Africa and developing parts of Asia (they are always in need of volunteers). This would clear up a lot of your misunderstandings about what actually happens there and how you as a global citizen can help another human being in need.

From reading your responses, you seem to feel 'free' and 'liberated' after doing these photoshoots and this feeling of freedom seems to be pretty common for people posing naked and/or performing other 'taboo' acts.

My question though is why? I can understand the feeling of freedom from waking up and deciding that you don't want to wear clothes that day fuck what everyone else thinks. But in your case, you were being paid to be naked. I'm assuming they did some things to make you more presentable to the camera, made you pose a certain way and then did some editing of the photos afterwards. So in a sense, you were 'less free'.
