I assume the meth was taken in pill form? How is it different than the meds used today for ADD/ADHD?

Also, did Albert Speer use drugs? If not, was he aware of his "buddy's" habit? I ask, because in all of Joachim Fest's "Conversations with Hitler's Architect" I don't recall it ever being slightly hinted at, and that was indeed a very insightful book, relative to this space... or so I thought.

For a lot of people, the smell of shit makes them gag, or worse. Did you have a break through period, where you had to get over it, mentally and physically?

Not a question, just thought I'd say this: The episode of Smart Guy where you and your dad build a tree house was a favorite of mine, and I still think on it today when I try to teach/help my kids with things they need to learn. It was good stuff. Also, there other day in a meeting I quoted the line from Smart Guy where you stepped down from being a political pundit on t.v. the line about "I've lost that fire in my belly." So, that was cool too. Just telling you, and saying thanks for the laughs.
