Did anyone see it happen? If so, what did they have to say about it?

Personally, it doesn't make me feel any safer, just violated. If the government has the funds to hire so many people, I'd feel a lot safer if they were put to work updating our infrastructure, not combing over the contents of my kid's carry-on. Honestly, getting flagged for a god damn reeses peanut butter cup is a waste of everyone's time.

I would hope most people would support the idea that animals raised for food should have a pleasant life followed by a humane death. Factory farming puts profits first and that is not acceptable.

I remember a year when the essay topic was "camels". I don't think even I could come up with enough information about camels off the top of my head to fill short essay. Poor kids.

Lab grown meat would be an even better alternative.
