Reading Phoenix really tied me over until October. Can we expect the release of more short stories in between books?

I was about 12 years old and was driving from Arizona to Illinois with my dad who liked to drive the whole distance with out stopping except for gas and food so we were driving for about 20 hours. When night came, we turned on Coast to Coast. A caller was on talking about how he was immortal. He went into great detail about being executed in a corn field. That call and my sleep deprivation made for one of those rare surreal experiences.
