Years ago I did an essay on volcanoes and the damage they can cause. I had seen some documentaries on Discovery Channel telling me that there are volcanoes (Yellowstone park for instance) that are so large that if they erupt the amount of ashes released to our atmosphere would be so immense that it could potentially change our climate (and cool it....). My teacher made the comment that this was highly overrated. I was rather confused about that. What is your opinion on this? Could this really be the case??? Do we know which volcanoes have such potential?

Natural disasters often feature in large Hollywood movie productions. I can imagine that the science behind them is not always correct. What is the funniest untrue thing you have ever seen in a movie so far???

It seems that flash floods occur more recently now (due to climate change?!) and I would call them a natural disaster too. What can we do to prevent flash floods from happening? We cannot stop heavy precipitation...
