I used to work at a company making home dialysis machines (not this one) so it's cool to see it from the other side. Is your one easy to use?

I gave birth last year. Before I got pregnant I needed painkillers all the time. Now I don't need any, although the end of the pregnancy was bad because of my hips, it made me generally better. Though other people have reported getting much worse after so it can go either way

None of my painkillers were allowed in pregnancy so I stopped taking them. Tried to walk a lot and as soon as I stopped walking as much around 7 months pregnant my hips started to separate. Other than that I didn't do anything.

For pregnancy care (I'm under the NHS which is usually midwife led) I had a consultant meet with me about 4 times and ordered extra tests. I had an ECG and so did the baby around 20 weeks. We also had about 3 extra ultrasounds to check on his growth. I also had complications with blood pressure but not sure if that was due to EDS or not. He eventually was induced at 38 weeks because I couldn't walk anymore and that failed (he wrapped the cord around his neck) so I had to have a C-section. Was a bit worried about that because of anaesthesia not working as well for me at the dentist and having been told to avoid surgery because I won't heal well but everything went just fine

The consultant seemed to know what he was doing but I didn't entirely trust him because my research showed he missed a couple of tests that could have been useful. But then again maybe as a first time mother I was worrying too much.
