What do you plan on doing to counteract the recent spike in corporations and even governments switching to open source / free operating systems and document editors?

i.e. Linux and LibreOffice

What can I do to get my ideas on paper? I dream up some cool stuff sometimes, but my drawing skills are so bad that it never turns out how I want it. I've taken drawing classes and practiced on my own, but my hand doesn't communicate with my brain how I need it to!
