How prevalent is (b), though, compared to a local discourse which asserts its presence without providing any evidence?

In other words: from what I can see, more people claim (b) exists than there actually is.

Not the OP but, for a PhD, there's not much room/benefit for a detailed analysis of a generalised perspective. They often need to be quite narrow in focus.

When writing down instructions and reminders for yourself, do you ever srsly question yourself? Like "why the hell did I remind myself to do that?" or do you always follow Pre-forgot You to the letter? e.g "Well I'm sure I had a good reason!"

Have your friends/girlfriend ever forged notes/reminders to mess with you? If so, any fun examples?
