I took way too long figuring out what was going on.

I live on an island in the Puget sound that is literally full of deer with no natural predators. Except cars.

Over the last 5 or so years I've noticed a lot more albino deer running around. It's my theory that they are more prevalent because a vehicle would see the white deer more often, saving the trait and passing to future generations.

Or am I just a crackpot?
